NOTE: Salt water swim in Guysborough's harbour. Average water temperature is 68 degrees Fahrenheit/19 degrees Celsius. Wet suits are suggested

(1500 m Swim/40km Bike/10km Run)
Sprint 9:45 AM
(750 m Swim/ 20Km Bike/ 5Km Run)
Youth 10:15 AM (age 16+)

Or --- In lieu of a registration fee and only on a volunteer basis --- help us to assist Guysborough County’s three rural hospitals: Eastern Memorial Hospital Foundation, Guysborough Memorial Hospital Foundation, and St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital Society. Collect pledges in lieu of your entry fee.

Please download a pledge sheet from the Triathlon dropdown or from Forms and help us to support our medical services. Collected pledge moneys must be submitted on race day, at the time of registration. The minimum individual pledge registration submission must be $100.00 or greater. The minimum team pledge registration submission must be $200.00 or greater.

Post race meal included with registration. Meal consists of Chedabucto Bay Sea Food Chowder, Acadien Corn Chowder, fresh-baked rolls, yummy sweets, bananas, oranges, 1% chocolate milk, tea/coffee --- and whatever else we are able to add.
***Due to incurred expenses, no refunds after August 13, 2010***, Fees Transfered to 2011
First 50 registered participants will get a wick-away T-shirt!  Due to surplus #’s because of Hurricane Bill, the next 50 registrants will get a cotton T-shirt.

IMPORTANT: TNS membership card must be shown on day of race. If not a member, a one-day membership fee must be purchased on site from TNS for $20.00 to cover insurance.

Prizes: In addition to category winner prizes, there will be random draw prizes. All race participants will be entered.
